Halt!
This is from my new fav website of the week. It has been providing a much needed comic relief and some good reflection points in addition. Visit daily, laugh a little and learn something in the process!

Banana Splits and Balderdash!
Ok So who knew Matt Kyle could make such a fun/yummy looking Banana Split? I must say he was a long shot. Jude's was pretty and I thought it was all said and done until MK showed up with a late entry and took it all. Funny cause he couldnt get a point in Balderdash to save his life. In any case, the night was fun. I managed to only eat a 'mini split' (mostly banana) and learned that an Aglet is actually the plastic piece on the end of your shoelace. All in all an educational night with lots of laughs and mini nillas. Yum.
Join us tonight (Wednesday) at 6 for Bible Study!

Welcome Freshmen!
Hello all and welcome to our new friends, the class of 2013! If this is your first visit to our website we're glad to have you here. Please check out the side bar and the previous post for upcoming events this summer. We've got an event filled, powerful, fun, spiritual, exciting year ahead and I can't wait to meet all of the new students who are going to find their way through our doors this year. Feel free to join us for our Tuesday night fun nights and our Wednesday night Scripture study all summer long. Both nights begin at 6pm at Wisdom. Shoot me an email or a note and I'll add you to our facebook list and you'll get invites to all of our upcoming events that way too. Tonight- Wednesday 6/17 we'll be meeting for our first Scripture/Catechesis Discussion addressing some of the biggest issues in the news today and how they affect our faith.
Also, there seems to be some confusion over whether the cafe is open during the summer. The coffee shop is not open for business but the student center is open (for study and socializing) from 9-1 every day. Stop by, meet the staff and get to know whats going on this summer and this year!
We had a laid back and fun first movie night. Groundhog day was a funnier and more inspiring movie than I had remembered. Good movie, even better company with all the Doritos we could stand :) After the movie some of us stayed behind and began the planning for CAMP Wisdom. We've got some great ideas brewing and I can't wait to see how we out do last year! The next meeting for the planning will be in two weeks, 6/30 at 8pm. Feel free to join us if you'd like to be involved in the planning.

Summer of Wisdom
I broke out in a heavy sweat at 8:30 this morning walking the 22 feet to my car door. Summer is officially here! I know classes have begun and jobs have been found. It's an exciting time. Unfortunately along with the freedom and sabbath of summer comes some social withdrawals and, dare I say it, boredom! Well, check your facebook inbox one last time and then put it away for a while- I've got some events and fun things to tell you about at Wisdom.
Tuesdays this Summer (starting 6/16) We'll be having a little bit of fun and hopefully making some new friends. If you were around last summer you know our Tuesday fun nights were packed with good times, good friends and inexpensive events. Movies, game night, bowling and more, including snacks and lots of laughs. We'll meet at Wisdom at 6pm no matter the event but check this website (and facebook) often for updates on events and pictures of the week before. Bring some new friends.
Wednesday nights (starting 6/17) we'll start up our S.O.S (Summer of Scripture) part 2. This year we'll be jumping into the current events of the world head first and finding out how and if they impact our faith. Bring a Bible if you have one. We'll use some Scripture, dig in on a little Catechesis and have lots of interesting discussion. Check back here for the topic of the week and then go read a newspaper or a news website! click here if you don't know where to start. 6pm - snacks included. Bring a new friend -get an extra dose of scriptural goodness :)
Later this summer we'll be giving lots of good details about this years C.A.M.P Wisdom and our big exciting back to school retreat and other events. In the meantime if you'd like to help with Freshman Orientations or the planning for Camp Wisdom note the following.
Orientation helpers meet at Wisdom on Wednesdays @ 10:30 (except the 9th)- expo lasts until 12 or a little after.
Camp Wisdom planners meet Tuesday night, 6/16 at 8pm (after the movie)for an introduction meeting!
The fun all starts tomorrow night 6/16 - 6pm @ Kurzweg Cafe with the classic movie Groundhog Day. See you then!
Don't forget to check this site often for updates and pics from previous events.
Also! This weekend we celebrated the 17th anniversary of our very own Pastor Pappa C (Father Chester) Serving the Church as a Priest! We also said a sad goodbye and had a celebration of thanksgiving for the gift of our Associate Pastor Father Clement. You'll be in our prayers Father Clement. We love you!
See video's for both of our prayerful pappa's on the sidebar. H.T. to our very talented Sarah Mele for the vids.
