For a while now I've thrown around the idea of creating a blog where we can post thoughts, prayers, quotes and have discussion about a variety of things- mostly about spirituality and the issues of our faith. In essence there would be a main post (like this one now) and everyone would be open to comment on it, thus opening up a discussion. What do you think? Is this something that you think would be useful to Wisdom?
I like it, you should make various people able to post like the leadership team and Father Chester, Father Clay, and Juan. I would be cool to really get some good articles up here. I love the idea, I really like blogs. I have one as a matter of fact :)!

ReplyDeleteWisdom's site is using Wordpress, blogging software. We setup a blogger site separate from the main site? I would think you would want this to be part of the main site.
ReplyDeleteI set up a blogger site separate from our website for a few reasons. Mostly if we are going to be posting 'opinions' and having discussions that can potentially become very involved I am hesitant to have the blog directly associated with our lady of wisdom. Speaking 'for' and as the Church we have to be very careful what is said. Otherwise we might lead people astray or cause scandal. I want everyone to feel free to say -respectfully- what they believe here. I would not be so willing to give free reign on the Church's website.
