What is it about the opposite sex that attracts us? His kind words, his raspy voice, his big puppy dog eyes and oh yeah! his B.O.? Sure every lady likes a nice cologne on her man but is there something deeper in his smell that attracts us? Is there something scientific to attraction? Do reason and science agree with the Church on her teaching against artificial contraception? I found

ReplyDeleteyet another reason for us not to mess with our body chemistry. i had heard about how the smell of the opposite sex keeps us from mating with those close to us genetically, but not that chemical contraception messed with it. Question do you think this will change any promiscuous minds??
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Mostly I think people will do what they want to do unless it's life threatening- and then it depends on how life threatening. Although I must say, the awareness of the biological effects of artificial contraception has caused a movement of those wishing to 'go green' with their bodies to learn about nfp.
